Armed Houston Area Man Thwarts Drive Thru Robbery

On the heels of last week's tragic story involving a domestic dispute resulting in the death of a third party attempting to intervene in the fracas, here comes news of a robbery attempt in League City near Houston thwarted by a dad with a gun. I'm happy to say the family is unhurt.

A family was in the drive thru line at McDonald's when an armed man approached them. The driver, the father 9n the family was having none of this: he had a gun of his own in the car and proceeded to shoot the would-be-assailant/thief in the chest, killing him.
