A Father’s Day Wish for a Clean Garage Almost Comes True

Fathers Day for my husband Keith came early this year. He went to the Eagles concert in Austin. (He still won't tell me how much those tickets cost!) 

So last week, he took off work, went to see his Dad on Saturday and spent the rest of the time doing something he has been wanting to do all year long. Clean out the Garage! Hey whatever makes you happy. He believes it is his destiny to get my van back in the garage.  It certainly won't fit in there along side all this stuff!

It's been 4 years since we moved the van out because we got new floors and we had to get stuff out of the house. Then my son, Travis joined the Navy reserve and his apartment stuff joined our stuff while he went to basic training. We just never moved all our stuff back into the house or Travis' stuff into a new apartment.

Until Now!  This is what Keith accomplished last week.

There is still a lot of stuff out there, but oh what progress. I can see the oil stains on the floor!  I have a clear path to the freezer.

We are close people, we are oh so close!  I am told I have to make a couple of trips to Goodwill and the van will soon be back inside!
