9/11 Remembrance Ceremony Tonight at Bell County Courthouse

The Killeen Daily Herald is running a story about 9/11 remembrance events taking place today in Central Texas. While many took place this morning, there is one more chance to take part in a public gathering this evening at the Bell County Courthouse.

The Bell County Bar Association will host a gathering beginning at 7:30 pm tonight at the Bell County Courthouse at 101 W. Central Ave. CenTex fire departments, police, emergency services workers, and members of our military will speak in remembrance of Americans who lost their lives on 9/11.

After the crowd sings the national anthem, they will walk to the Belton Police Memorial on Second Avenue. Candles will be lit before a moment of silence, followed by the playing of taps.
