4 Fire Departments Respond to Early Morning Fire in Lacy Lakeview

Fire Departments in Waco, Bellmead, Chalk Bluff, and Elm Mott responded to a home fire in Lacy Lakeview this morning that displaced 4 residents.

KWTX reports the blaze was at a home in the 300 block of South Barbara Street in Lacy Lakeview. 1 person was taken by ambulance to a local hospital and others treated at the scene after they escaped the fire.

Firefighters blocked off the neighborhood and Oncor assisted in restoring the power to the other residents after the fire. The home is said to be a total loss. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
