Saturday is the Texas All-Star High School Soccer Match/Family Fun Day in Belton. See the game played by the best players in Texas Saturday at Wilson Kerzee Field in Belton. The Girls play at 11:00 AM and the Boys play at 1:30 PM.
In honor of that, I take you back to simpler time. Yes, we are putting on our cleats, firing up the time machine and headed back to the wilds of 1992. Clinton was on the verge of a newly minted presidency. I was working in a covered wagon. And Rodney Dangerfield was a major movie star.
Strange days, indeed.
To climb the corporate ladder to success, our man Rodney, playing "Chester Lee", agrees to coach the company's all girl soccer team with the help of his secret weapon: his fiancee's son.
And the hijinks ensue! With a cast including the effervescent Jackee' Harry and Tommy Lasorda as "Coach Cannoli", laughter is indeed the goal!
