$1 Million Worth of Toys R Us Products Donated to Charity

Many of us 'grown-up' Toys R Us Kids felt a little sad on Friday watching the chain of toy stores we all grew up with closing down for good. Who can forget the photo of Geoffrey the Giraffe standing next to his empty suitcase as the stores all closed for the final time?

On the bright side, an anonymous donor in North Carolina decided to spend $1 Million dollars to buy out the last of the toys at the Triangle Town Center in Raleigh. This meant every last toy in the store was purchased leaving them with nothing but a whole bunch of toys headed for local charities as the doors closed for the final time.

A little bit of good will goes a long way.
